FAQ's
Q: Do you offer delivery?
A: Yes we offer free delivery in Somerset and North Somerset.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: We cover the whole of the South West for events but would be happy to travel further if required.
Q: Do you cater for allergies?
A: As a home run baking business I do not cater for allergies as it is more difficult to prevent cross contamination. Please get in touch if you have an allergy or intolerance prior to booking or ordering from me.
Q: What types of cakes do you offer?
A: Anything baked or sweet I'm sure I can help. Please see my menus on the home page to see some of my selection.
Q: How much notice do you need for a cake?
A: As much notice as possible. I do get booked up pretty quickly so to avoid disappointment make sure you place your orders early.
Q: I have no idea what cake I want, can you help?
A: Yes I am more than happy to design a cake for you. You just let me know a few things that the recipient likes and I can give you some ideas.
Q: How do I pay?
A: Details on how to pay are in my terms and conditions. I can accept bank transfer or secure card payment at present and 50% of this is required on booking for orders more than £60, full payment on booking for orders less than £60. I do also accept Clearpay via the website
Q: Can you pencil me in your diary?
A: Unfortunately no booking is confirmed until a booking fee is paid. Once this has been paid though your date is secured!
Q: Do you do face to face consultations?
A: Yes, I offer face to face consultations for weddings and large events. All other bookings can be arranged via email,
Q: Can I order online?
A: Currently you can request to book for a cake tasting, wedding or event and celebration cake. Online ordering is available for smaller postal and local delivery or collection orders.
Q: If I sign up to your website will I be spammed with lots of emails?
A: No! I will only send out emails when there is something new to my page or to let you know of any deals and promotions. You can always unsubscribe if you're not liking my emails.
Q: How do I store my cake? I don't have room in my fridge.
A: You will be given information on how to store your cake when it is delivered or collected. If you don't have room in your fridge, let me know and I can make sure nothing is added that needs to be refrigerated. You can also store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days or most cakes freeze well for up to 3 months!
Q: My wedding/event isn't until next year, can I still book in?
A: Yes! To secure your date you can pay a booking fee and then 6-9 months before the wedding or event we can do a full consultation and quote. I can give you an estimated quote on booking but please be aware this may change due to price increases (or decreases if we're lucky enough for this to happen!!).
